Fantasy Life is a little game that I have spent far too much time on, considering it tis but a simple 3DS game. Its actually the thing that drove me to buy a 3DS alongside Pokémon, and since getting it I've spent a little over 200 hours playing it, and I still haven't 100% it. Though I have god-ranked all lives. Over all this game is addictive, the art is cute, and the story is super sweet, I highly recommend this to anyone who owns a 3DS. If you don't, I know there's a mobile game, but I believe that it's quite different from fantasy life as I believe it is a gacha game (not fully sure on that part). However, Fantasy Life I: The Girl Who Steals Time recently came out, and I've heard that's much more inline with the spirit of the original game. I think you can get it on steam, which I will be doing eventually...if I have free time...
I feel as though this needs no explaination. I mean, it's Pokemon. I started my pokemon journey on my cousin's 3DS with their copy of pokemon X. However, they also let me dabble around with their other pokemon games, which is when I fell in love with the Hoenn Region in Omega Ruby. Fast-forward a few years and I finally bought myself a 3DS and a copy of omega ruby. There I transferred my starters from X to OR. After a few change outs (I pick pokemon based exlusively on how cool they look) my team consisted of: Lisa (Greninja), Vicky (Venusaur), Kira (Incineroar), Xander (Absol), Triphoon (Swampert), and a lucario that I don't remember the name of atm but will add when I do. That was the team that I overleveled to the elite four. Of course, being a man of wisdom and good taste the team moveset only consisted of attacks. Only a coward uses stat-changing moves. If I think about it I'm only a casual fan. Intense competative battling has never drawn me in and as for the story...well, it's a pokemon game. I just love the franchise for all the designs and critters they keep churning out. If I had to chose an all-time favorite pokemon, it would be Absol, after all, I like it so much I made my current fursona one. In terms of favorite legendary I'd have to go with Regice, and my favorite mythical is Deoxys.
The scugs!! I love this game to pieces, and will constantly shower it with praises to anyone who puts up with me. The worldbuilding and lore? Phenomenal. The pixel art and creature design? Stunningly Beautiful. The actual gameplay and mechanics? Great to the point I'm not even mad when I die in game (which happens a lot). Videocult went hard on this game and it shows. I play with my sister and am currently working through the survivor campaign (we're so close to the outer expanse) and it's always a good time to fumble about. We usually play a few rounds of arena together as a warm up before we start the campaign, and multiple times we've had too much fun just dinking around killing things in the arena that we never actually end up playing the campaign that day. When we play I usually main spearmaster, and they have quickly become my favorite. I love that purple vampire freak. I am also quite fond of lizards, and for an assignment in the woodworking portion of my construction class, I carved and painted a pink lizard who I think turned out quite well.
Well, I like a fair amount of vocaloid voices, but in terms of design, I gravitate towards Miku. She's just so iconic. I was first introduced to vocaloid music from a friend. I went over to her house frequently, and she had Project Diva on the PS4 and I was able to play it (badly) and see the different vocaloids and here the songs. While I didn't appreciate it at the time (and I didn't really have access to the internet and social medias), around the pandemic my I started getting back into it. What I really like about vocaloids as a whole is the variety. There are so many voicebanks, so many different genres of music, and so many producers that you'll probably find something out there for you. Also, recently (like, in the post pandemic years), vocaloid is having a bit of a renaissance, and all the new and returning creators are turning out some bangers. I'll link some of my favorite vocaloid and utaloid producers and their songs here. I'm basic, I know...
